7 Principles of a successful leader
Every leader will have basic things like learning, practice, and their tasks. To be an efficient leader there are a lot of things and also principles that we can learn and apply in our life. But it is about how we are efficient in it.
7 efficient principles of a leader are:
1. Desire
We need to have a desire to do or to be a leader. Desire in the things you like and want to do is what matters the most. Desire is adjoined or combined together with passion. Passion and desire go together and equally build and know your desire.
2. Opportunity
Our desire should be able to meet the right kind of opportunity. We need to know and grab hold of every opportunity we get and use it to explore our talents on what our desire is. Opportunity does not always wait for us but we need to wait for the opportunity to soar higher and higher to achieve our goal.
3. Commitment
Commitment to our desire and to our opportunity is always needed. We need to be committed to the task and work that we have got. Commitment needs a lot of hard work and desire. You may have commitment but if there is no desire then it is of no use. Desire is needed and commitment to be an efficient leader.
Commitment should never be changed nor should it be taken for granted.
4. Management
Every leader needs to go through a phase of management. Managing various things and problems are a part of an efficient leader. Management combines of these 5 things.
a. Time
b. Resource
c. Communication
d. Finance
e. Leadership
We need to be a good manager in all these areas to be an efficient leader.
5. Positive
Initially I had it as negative, I meant over coming negativeness. Positiveness sounds better to be addressed here. Positiveness is needed in a leadership very much. Whether it is in his/her own personal life or even in the leadership career. Positiveness is needed in these areas in a leader’s life.
