A friend in need is a friend in deed

We all know the saying that is very famous for friendship. A friend in need is a friend in deed. Which ever way you put this saying even the other way friendship is also something that we have to cherish always. In our lives friends come and go we meet new friends and make new friends. But only one friend remains true to us. Though we may wish many of our loved friends still we forget to thank and wish the one and only true friend Jesus Christ. We see that Abraham was called the friend of God. Today God is looking at us and He calls us His FRIENDS. Hv we taken time to wish Him and thank Him for being a loyal and faithful friend. If you hv still not done it then please take some time to thank Him and say you love Him. God bless. Rencin Matthew

Are you a cancer patient?

The word cancer has a beautiful meaning to it. Nobody loves to have this disease but they pity others who are in that disease.  In our body we have cells that help us in the daily growth that we require. And there is a particular limit for these cells to grow in our body. Well… what if these cell over grows… that is when it becomes a cancer. The over growing of a particular cells in our body turn out to be called as cancer, a sickness that is feared by most humans today. We are all happy that we have no such sickness. Well what if I said that most of us specially the youngsters are under the dangerous cancerous diseases. Cancer eats away the person day by day and finally they die out of the lack of treatment once if they cross the 3rd stage and have come to the 4th stage. There are different stages of Cancer. Spiritually I think we also have cancers and different stages of cancers. Well what are they. Sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchc...

What difference did you make?

Jesus broke a few things to make a difference. He broke the caste/creed difference by drinking water from a Samaritan woman. He broke the high/low class difference by spending time with the poor. He had touched and healed the lepers by doing so He broke the difference of untouchables. His disciples were mostly fishermen who were uneducated and so he broke the difference of literate and illiterate. He ate on a Sabbath day and broke the difference of traditions and cultures. He allowed the prostitute woman to touch His feet and so doing He broke the concept of sinners and the sinful being forgiven. What have broken in your life to make a difference? Last not but the least He died on the cross as a ransom for us, He became Sin for us and curse for our generations. He conquered death and won victory by coming back to life. He is alive today and living in you and me. What have broken in your life to make a difference? God bless, Rencin Matthew

Draw near to God

How often do we draw away from God. What if our loved one or the best friend just keeps a distance from us for a while and then comes back to you asking for some kind of a favor or an help? Don’t you feel like you have been used and thrown? Well, now if that is the way we humans assume about our mortal relationships then what about God? What would Jesus do if you just came to Him for just a prayer or for some urgent need? Don’t you think we are just using Him and once we get what we want we are happy and least bothered about God. The Bible tells us in James 4:8 “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Clean your hands oh sinners and purify your hearts you who are double minded.” Well now about drawing near to God well it is great. We can make a commitment to draw closer to God and always listen to what He wants to say or do. But are we pure or cleansed enough for us to draw near to God. The Bible says that our sin’s separate us from God. Is 59:2 Sin separates us from God. Caus...

No Troubled hearts

John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God; believe also in me”. The above statement is made by Jesus after the Passover. Jesus knew who would betray Him. Jesus offered love to His betrayers to demonstrate the power of forgiveness. Jn 13:26-27. Jesus knew His future and He also knew the trial and the troubles that He was about to face in few hours. But the disciples were troubled and worried. Peter was even willing to go with Jesus to the extent of death. Jesus knew that His hour of death was nearing. Through all these Jesus says to His disciples “let not your heart be troubled, believe in God and believe in me”. a. Troubled hearts Whom do we believe? Whom do we trust? Friends, is our heart troubled looking at the problems? Are you troubled looking at the trials in your life? Remember to believe in Jesus. The first point that I would like to highlight is “troubled hearts”. Believing is having hope. And when hope differs our heart tents to be troubled and weary. P...
