Draw near to God
How often do we draw away from God. What if our loved one or the best friend just keeps a distance from us for a while and then comes back to you asking for some kind of a favor or an help? Don’t you feel like you have been used and thrown? Well, now if that is the way we humans assume about our mortal relationships then what about God? What would Jesus do if you just came to Him for just a prayer or for some urgent need? Don’t you think we are just using Him and once we get what we want we are happy and least bothered about God. The Bible tells us in James 4:8 “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Clean your hands oh sinners and purify your hearts you who are double minded.” Well now about drawing near to God well it is great. We can make a commitment to draw closer to God and always listen to what He wants to say or do. But are we pure or cleansed enough for us to draw near to God.
