No Troubled hearts

John 14:1 “Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God; believe also in me”. The above statement is made by Jesus after the Passover. Jesus knew who would betray Him. Jesus offered love to His betrayers to demonstrate the power of forgiveness. Jn 13:26-27. Jesus knew His future and He also knew the trial and the troubles that He was about to face in few hours. But the disciples were troubled and worried. Peter was even willing to go with Jesus to the extent of death. Jesus knew that His hour of death was nearing. Through all these Jesus says to His disciples “let not your heart be troubled, believe in God and believe in me”. a. Troubled hearts Whom do we believe? Whom do we trust? Friends, is our heart troubled looking at the problems? Are you troubled looking at the trials in your life? Remember to believe in Jesus. The first point that I would like to highlight is “troubled hearts”. Believing is having hope. And when hope differs our heart tents to be troubled and weary. P...
