Looks, fashions and pleasure

Never look upon a woman with a different thought in your mind. The glory of a child of God is the obedience which will be seen both inward and outward. The glory and the fashion of this world has got a bad end. They are always rebelling, pride, attitude and disobedience.

The pleasure of this world leads us to death. 2 kings 9:30. Jehu was a handsome young man willing to do God’s will. Jezebel painted her face (decorated her face or made it beautiful). “Painted herself”, here talks about, adorning her self with makeup and fashionable cosmetics. A common thing found in all women these days. 1 Timothy 5:6 tells us clearly that she who lives in pleasure is still dead even when she is alive.

A look upon a woman can cause a lot of harm if it is not pure. “Our looks, leads us to thoughts and our thoughts leads us to our actions and our actions leads us to our destiny”. – Rencin Matthew

Nothing of the Holy Spirit is present in a woman of this world or either in any woman who lives in pleasure. Fashion is not beauty but vanity. Beauty is hidden. So let’s learn to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

What difference did you make?

Jesus broke a few things to make a difference. He broke the caste/creed difference by drinking water from a Samaritan woman. He broke the high/low class difference by spending time with the poor. He had touched and healed the lepers by doing so He broke the difference of untouchables. His disciples were mostly fishermen who were uneducated and so he broke the difference of literate and illiterate. He ate on a Sabbath day and broke the difference of traditions and cultures. He allowed the prostitute woman to touch His feet and so doing He broke the concept of sinners and the sinful being forgiven. What have broken in your life to make a difference? Last not but the least He died on the cross as a ransom for us, He became Sin for us and curse for our generations. He conquered death and won victory by coming back to life. Living the Dream We all love to dream, dream is a part of our life. Dreaming dreams bigger than our self is the integrity that we can have in our life. All of us have dreams. Dream to build a big house, earn 4 or 5 figured salary, live life in all comforts, living in joy and happiness.
