I have been there - Building up not Bullying!

I must say, I have been there. For various reason been bullied and made fun off. Put down and treated ill. I was bullied, ragged and even made fun off. As a 2nd grade student I was bullied to be a weakling and pushed into the ditch and twisted my leg, and unable to get up sat throughout the day in that ditch waiting for my parents to come take me out. None of the school authorities ever knew or even realised my absence during the whole day and thereafter stayed back at home for months unable to walk. I have been through it, the shame, the pain, the humiliation and the rejection which amounted to a lot of low self esteem and self worth.

But I ask you to support and educate every person. Not only schools but even parents about the effects of bullying. Every parents and every individual about the harm of eve-teasing, bullying and ragging.
Only you can stop the evil!

I strongly believe that bullying does not start with a child at school. It starts with the parents and their upbringing of themselves and their children. It's the parents who need to understand that every child, every person or every single soul has a worth and a value. We need to teach the society, our communities, our religious and educational institutions, our corporate organization's, families and even our own self that everyone are unique and special. We need to educate everyone the value of each person and that we all together contribute to a better world at large in one or the other way, at some point or the other.

Social evils like racism, casteism, nationalism, differences of creed, race, language, gender inequalities, religious atrocities and other such practices are to be put an end before it could spread to the next generation.

A person of a healthy mindset contributes to be a positive inspiration at large starting with their family,  workplace, the community, their society, the province and the nation at last. If we fail to self mend our ways of such evil practices, then it is very difficult to look for a change from someone else. Change must begin with us and we are the ones who can change the world.

Social EvilsFinally, let's all understand that we are just mere humans, a being made by the divine entity. Created and made for a unique purpose. Born to reach the destiny we are called for. Whether we are black or white, thin or fat, tall or short, high or low, rich or poor, weak or strong, literate or illiterate, male or female we are all just mere human beings living in this whole world uniquely to accomplish and stand out bright and shining.

So let's leave aside all the differences, tear down every wall of negativity from our minds and our hearts and unite together to help each other in order to make this world a better place to live.

God bless,

Rencin Matthew
