Humans - an excuse machine!

I have been pondering about so many things in  life about we humans think and react.

  • Why do we do things that which we are not supposed to do?
  • Why do we commit sins that which we know is not right?
  • Why do we pray to idols and images when God Himself has forbidden us?
  • Why do you drink (alcohol) and say that its alright to do so, when the Bibles says that drunkenness is against God?
  • Why do we disobey our parents when the Bibles says to obey and honour them?
  • Why do we have disbelief when God has a answer to the problems?

Its simple! 

Man has failed to understand God! 

We have not understood the nature and characteristics of God Himself. And it all led me to simple thing! We humans are always wanting to give excuses! Giving excuse has been ancestry! And its not our mistake, ever since the disobedience of man towards God we have been giving excuses to God to merely enjoy the passing pleasure of this world. Adam and Eve both gave excuses! And the lasting consequences of that excuse was the death of the inner man. But Jesus the last Adam came and obeyed God. While at Gethsemane He never cried asking or giving any excuses but only prayed if it is Your will, let this cup be passed away from me.

Dear friend!

God says in Isaiah  55:8-9, that our ways and thoughts are simply not God's ways and thought. God has His own way plans and purposes for our lives but we choose to live in a sin for a momentary pleasure or sin that is not lasting. That is only for a moment. Can we say to God to give us the grace to lean on Him and not be a excuse machine from today?

What difference did you make?

Jesus broke a few things to make a difference. He broke the caste/creed difference by drinking water from a Samaritan woman. He broke the high/low class difference by spending time with the poor. He had touched and healed the lepers by doing so He broke the difference of untouchables. His disciples were mostly fishermen who were uneducated and so he broke the difference of literate and illiterate. He ate on a Sabbath day and broke the difference of traditions and cultures. He allowed the prostitute woman to touch His feet and so doing He broke the concept of sinners and the sinful being forgiven. What have broken in your life to make a difference? Last not but the least He died on the cross as a ransom for us, He became Sin for us and curse for our generations. He conquered death and won victory by coming back to life. Living the Dream We all love to dream, dream is a part of our life. Dreaming dreams bigger than our self is the integrity that we can have in our life. All of us have dreams. Dream to build a big house, earn 4 or 5 figured salary, live life in all comforts, living in joy and happiness.
